The Lizard Cadgwith Cove |
Menifters is close to the village of Porthallow and is approximately 2 miles from the villages of Manaccan and St Anthony. This is a beautiful part of South West Cornwall, far enough from the main roads to be quiet and peaceful, but close to shopping and local areas of interest. We are only 12 miles from Helston, and Penzance and Falmouth are within easy reach for visits for shopping and sightseeing. Menifters four cottages have been tastefully converted from an old stone farm building, are built of traditional Cornish granite walls with slate roofs, and are set in an acre of gardens with a further four acres of paddocks. They are situated on a hill giving uninterrupted views over unspoilt farmland with breath taking views towards the sea, where boats can be seen in Falmouth Bay. |

the walk to Porthallow |
Porthallow Cove, with a village Pub and a tea garden for cream teas is a twenty five minute walk, via road or footpath, from Menifters or a three to four minute drive by car down the almost traffic free lanes.

and fully heated throughout. Electricity and bed linen are included in the price, but we do ask you to bring your own towels. A washing machine is available in the laundry room. There is ample parking for cars and boats. Well-behaved pets are welcome (max 2); we do however request that dogs do not roam free in the garden and are not left unattended in the cottage. |
